Not a name as a person name per se, but we often refer to it as the "Prosh". Don't know why, it just stuck.

Dr P. When I bought my car a month ago, my buddy derided me about having a purple Porsche(it's that burgundy met. color.) Poor Sven, he's just jealous, we've been 'competing' with cars for years his Z with my SX, his 535i with my 325i, and now his 535i with my 924S. So in honor of Dr. Ferry Porsche and to the color of a Dr. Pepper can the name of my car was born.

I'll call mine "Zsa-Zsa" due to the high-maintainance factor!

Wednesday, the wife and I bought her on a Wednesday, a week before my son was born. She was VERY pregnant when we took the car for a test drive. She was actually the one who picked the car out on the lot we went by.
Week later Lucas was born, man talk about a good week!!!! I got my beautiful son and a Porsche in 7 days!!! I don't think that can be topped, but hey, we ARE talking about a second child.... <img src="graemlins/r.gif" border="0" alt="[king]" />

They're German, right? So I gave them fine Germanic names: Lothar, Else and Heinrich.

Mine is "Michelle". Always liked that name...it's a nice, sweet sounding name, but she can really take you for a wild ride when you get on her hard. Many puns intended there.

Might be odd but I refer to mine as "My little UFO" It feels like driving your own little flying saucer.

As in my sig, her name is Argento.

Ag = silver (latin root)

Also, ripped it off of the Gladiator (awesome movie), where one of the "Spaniard's" horses was "Argento," which is cool because the Lone Ranger's was "Silver" and I always like that show....

I'm goofy like that.

My 924S (RIP) was just "my baby).

stealth bomber, got it from the PO, who is still a good friend of mine, but wasn't worthy of the privilege to own it so he sold it to me, sight unseen.

love that gemini grey, lz7z, especially after seeing a 951 that looked exactly like it.
