Default Reccomendations for full coils

Looking in to full coil setup for the 86 951, just wondering what everyones opinions on it are. Currently the car has the non knoi suspension and Im looking to get a little more beefy in that department. Just browsing some old threads I came up with these.

http://www.ground-control-store.com/.../II=647/CA=192

I believe that price includes the price of the camber plates and lower shock monuts in the rear. Anyone have any experience running this setup? thoughts? Also if I am planning on leaving the rear torsion bars intact, what spring rates would be ideal for front and back?

Any other reccomendations of suspension setups are a plus as well. The current strut housings I have are the non-rebuildable type and I was looking to just get entire housings instead of replacing inserts and modifying the current strut housing.

Thanks,
Greg

Why would you leave the rear T-bars in on a full coil over set-up? They are easy to take out and with the coil-overs only you can now adjust ride height and spring rate very easily.

same comment. why would u want to leave the tbars there? in order to install the coilovers, you'd have to reindex the tbar. then you get into having compound spring rates since you have both the tbar and the coil spring acting on the rear suspension. it'd be a headache to tune out and should just be avoided entirely

And yes....I have full coil-overs on my 951 race car. Bilstein Escort Cup with Ground Control camber plates. Racers Edge bushings too.

My original plan was to remove the entire t-bar instead of having to reindex, but I've read that it puts stress on the lower shock mount in the rear and would probably need reinfocement. If I was to remove the T-bars completely what would be a reasonable springrate to run for street / light DE use? How do you like the Bilstein Escort Cup Kit?? Have you had any experience with any of the other kits out there? KWv3's, Moton's etc etc...?
