Question Harrington shifter Q's

Anyone out there with a Harrington shifter? Bought one from a fellow Rennlister and put it in. Thing is, there is MUCH more noise in the car now. It does buzz quite a bit and was wondering if others out there have the same experience and have found a solution.

Craziest thing is it seemd to conduct the sound from the transmission tunnel straight up into the cabin, weird. I can actually hear the torque tube bearings spinning....I think...

Thanks,

Billet shifters will buzz like crazy. The only thing I have found that helps is to keep the clevis pin greased up really well where it passes through the end eye on the shift linkage. That seems to help damp the buzzing a bit.
