50 bucks says its some cocksucking riceboy that wants to add it along with his Type R badges to his ****ty rice rocket. Things like that REALLY REEEEALLLY **** ME OFF!!!!!!!!! Trevor you should just get a new badge from Performance Products or Vertex. They are a lot cheaper now. And if someone tries to jack it again just do what i did to the guy that tried to peel off the silver 944 emblem on the back of my car....chase him down tackle him and smack the back of his head on the concrete he's laying on... Sadistic yes ...but the SOB had it coming... I don't take kindly to people assaulting my beauty...

Totally agree, I wasn't suggesting you do the sticker - honestly, it looks cheesy - and, you can see the divots from the mounting holes. Good for my track beater - not for a street gleamer. Keep it real, yo!

i would be more than happy to trade my hood emblem for the f**king key scratch this a**hole left down the drivers side of my car! Be thankful you can repair the damage with $25. OTOH, its difficult to imagine why or what a non-P-car person would want with your hood badge...

On a more possitive note, i did find out some time later that on the night in question two drunken bachaelor party guys were caught keying a Beemer by its owner who just happened to step out the back door of this pub right as it was happening! ...apparently after they'd already wandered past my car from the place they were leaving...

I can only think of what i might have done if i'd been so timely as to come upon this act being carried out upon my beloved 951!!! It still boils my blood

The CIA has this little gun hidden in the side of a cane. It would shoot out a poison pellet the size of a large grain of sand. You would walk past your target and PSSTtt, they wouldn't feel a thing. Except they'd be dead a couple hours later.

Having one of these tucked away inside your front bumper and having it activated by a switch under your badge would work wonders. Especially if it was the install-kill variety so that you'd have a cold body in front of your car with the freshly-pried contraband in their hands. That'll teach those punks!!!

You never had a real Porsche.

Mine was taken less than a year ago. Original to car.

There are also people stealing the covers for the valves to fill your tires up with air. A few days ago, A bunch of kids stole all 4 of mine! But luckily, they were caught. The covers are back where they belong.

PorscheG96, I Hope they find the SOB's who did it!

That was extremely funny. When I was a child (around 10 years old), I would steal hood ornaments off of the cars at the nearby dealership. Unfortunately, it was a Chrysler affair and so all I got was a few 5 point star deals off of caravans and such. It was me and a few friends. Our prized ornament was this all glass (although we swore to each other at the time it was crystal) piece from a New Yorker or Dynasty. (Same thing). To make a long story short one of the repair guys caught us while we were in the act. I jet on my bike but my other two buds got caught up and were later questioned by a cop and ratted me out. A trip to the dealership and a 200 dollar fine each was what we ended up with. Oh yeah and a good whooping from my dad when I got home. Almost like that poor little girl in Texas but not that bad. I believe my face looked just like that kid up top, except browner..and then redder.

How much does a new crest cost? I know that my jag crest was ~$230CDN.

Edit: I still haven’t got a new one for my van (/me points to Porsche5050)
