They look great! And I know what it's like to have to stare at pics for a while.

Those look great but ok so since no one will ask how much does the service cost.

I honestly cannot remember what Harvey quoted me. I want to say it was $1200 or so for the set? I guess I'll be reminded when I have to pay for them! Hopefully the OP will be more help.

They look really nice, i hope it's not $1200 though. If it is, that guy must make a killing!

I really can't remember but even if it is $1200, I don't think that's really out of line for the quality or work they are known for. Price could be a little less. Hopefully the OP will enlighten us.

I think all four were around $800-$1000. But it depends upon sizes, finishes, etc. But I decided to go with Harvey because he is the best, from what I learned, refinishing Fuchs since the '60s, best in the industry and I plan on keeping these wheels "forever" as even if I sell my 944 I will more than likely always own one, and I will just keep the Fuchs. Obviously, I'm a huge fan of the Fuchs.

Put it this way, Harvey called me and said they had to completely redo all 4 because as they were packing them up they found a flaw in the anodizing. They completely stripped all four, sent them back to the anodizer, and redid all four. When I asked why they redid all four because one had a minor flaw in the anodization, he said because otherwise the anodizing would not match exactly since it would have been done at different times.

In short, I believe you get what you pay for. I wanted to add value to something I would keep for a very, very long time. Original quality or better. You could truly do it yourself if you were only interested in how it appeared.

Thanks!!
