Hello all my 3 year old grandson is coming to visit this summer from California and will be here during the Porsche's to Oxford weekend. My son and I want to bring him with us to Oxford but Ohio law require he be in a child seat in the car. I have a 90 S2 Cab and would like to borrow or rent a child seat that fits in the back seat of my car. I live just north of Columbus Ohio and would be willing to pich it up and leave a deposit. I need it the last week of July. Thanks in advance for any help.

Although you can safely get a car seat for a child of three years into a 911, IMHO you cannot in a 944. The angle and depth of the back seat makes installing a car seat properly almost, if not entirely, impossible. I would strongly recommend that you either consider another car, or another means of transportation, and despite what Porsche says/posts on their website, please don't put the car seat in the front.

I have to agree with this!
My son, who's now 8 and my daughter who is 6 were not allowed in the 944 until they were big enough for a booster seat....a 3 year old still really needs a seat with it's own harness.
Have someone follow you with a proper car seat and let the 3yr old play in the car while it's parked.
