you all would be amazed what a huge difference those rubber bushings make on eliminating vibrations...


i will miss not having that rubber in there.

I disassembled everything yesterday and that pin was chewed to $hit and was barrel shaped badly, I'm surprised the E-clip was still holding. Anyways I mic'd the inside of the shifter rod and it was not as worn. I think Delrin would be an ideal isolator in there.

Also, it looks like the stock parts can be modified to shorten the shifter **** AND keep those rubber bushings.
