Post 924s dipstick won't stay in

i'm having trouble figuring out my oil dipstick always pops out when i drive. I am also having trouble figuring out my stuttering problem at low throttle. the engine comes back to life after a second of hesitation. this occurs mostly in first and second gear starting out.I was wondering if these two things were related with each other.

You guys may have excessive crankcase pressure. I seem to remember some threads about this. The pressure is vented in some way, a PCV or similar. I'd search the archives and see what you turn up.

i'm with thaddeus... you all ahve alot of crankcase pressure. make sure its vented properly... check all the lines, one may be clogged or old/moldy/crusty and may need replacing. good luck!

I'm gonna have to agree that it sounds like your PCV valve is sticking. A sticking PCV will cause stuttering at low throttle and it will force the dipstick out because of high creancase pressure.

PCV valve should be an easy repair. At least, it's not an expensive part.
