Default Half Shaft Install ?'s w/ Stage 8 bolts

1st question is do the large clips go on the outer CV and small ones on the inner (transaxle side)? 2nd I'm using the Stage 8 bolt kit from Ideola's and was wondering if the torque specs are the same as with the stock bolts (30 ft lbs)? Will be installing the axles this weekend. TIA!

After thinking about it a bit, I would guess that the torque is not that important since there is no way these new bolts can back out with the locks? Looks like the big clip thing goes on the wheel side and the small ones on the trans side?

Torque is very important. It's the clamping force that tames the torque passing though axles.

got everything installed. Torqued down to 30 lbs. Had to buy a 3/8" drive torque wrench, some new snapring pliers that had a small enough pin for the clips, and a 3/8" drive 12 point 8mm socket. Those tiny "C" clips are kind of hard to get on. Went for a drive this afternoon and all is well!
