I have an 85.5 944 and looking to replace most of my interior pieces. Carpets have hard spots, etc. I'm also looking to reseal my rear hatch, where is the best place to buy the seal? If anyone knows a place to buy NEW carpeting for our cars, or if someone has a parts car with good carpets let me know, and thanks!

Strike-Force, the carpet kits we offer are hand crafted by Classic 9 Leathershop, one of the major sponsors here on Rennlist. You can order directly from Bob, but I'm currently offering a 10% discount on all of the Classic 9 products through the 15th (I could be persuaded to extend that by a week or so if there's genuine interest...).
Bob has two materials available: a really nice domestic carpet called SpectroPile, and a super high quality German SliverKnit. Bob is local to me, so I've been to his shop several times, and have had opportunity to see the and feel the carpet first hand. The domestic stuff is really nice, especially for the price, and is orders of magnitude nicer than the cheap swill sold on eBay for comparable prices. If you're on a budget, the domestic stuff is definitely the way to go, you won't be disappointed.
OTOH, if money is no object, then definitely go for the SliverKnit. It is a bit thicker and more plush than the SpectroPile. One final word on the SpectroPile: it is a product that is produced specifically for heavy duty automotive and marine applications, so it is definitely up the the challenge of wear and tear in a frequently used car.
If you have the late style dash and interior bits, then order for a 1986 944, and you'll get the right kit. HTH, PM or post back if you have any follow-up questions.
If you'd like a quick glimpse at what Ideola's Garage has been up to recently, and some of the cool products we've brought to market for the Porsche community, check out the list of group buys we've coordinated. Some of the recent buys have been really huge in terms of participation, and so far, I believe we're batting 1.000 in terms of happy participants

I will check out all the stuff tomorrow, a bit late tonight going to bed soon. I'm sure I'll try to order by the 15th for a 10% discount!
Another question:
I'm planning on calling my glass guy to get me a windshield but I don't want one with an antenna in it if possible, what should I ask for?

Do you already have the flush-mount trim? If not, you might consider getting the necessary pieces and converting to the late flush mount windshields. I don't know all of the required bits, but there are some seals and gaskets you'll need + the wiper arms at a minimum...but from what I've heard, the flush mounts really update the look of the car. If you already have flush-mount, then you should be able to specify with your glass shop antenna or not.

Ordered the carpet today! (On g/f's credit card so she gets the points lol) Can't wait to see it. Car is going to the body shop in 4 weeks to get fixed / painted. Trying to get her looking and running good again.
