Pics of Rear EURO NA bumper?
#16
I didn't mean to bag on anybody, I'm at work, bored, and recognized that picture as being out of one of the PP catalogs kicking around the house.
Olli - what no Chinese?
A little disappointed in the "Euro-spec" rear bumper, I though it would look better than that.

Elon's pic is the one I was looking for, the actual bumper part. Thanks a bunch!
On the valance topic, I can't say I'm a big fan of any for the 944NA. I sort of like the raw/retro look of the NA, exposed underbody and all
I do, however, appreciate the 'minimized' look of the euro-spec 944 more than any of the aftermarket stuff I've seen.

Unless I'm mistaken, the factory never put that lower valence on any 944 (euro or otherwise). That's all aftermarket. At least I never saw one while living there in Germany. Michael or Jon?

I'm pretty sure the N/A valance is a factory option - I once took mine off, and there was some 944.xxxxxsomething (can't remember, sorry) part number in it, and also a BBS logo.
One trick to make the euro rear bumber even better is to get rid of the rubber strip - unfortunately I don't have a picture of how mine looks, but I'll try to get one if you're interested.

Good! I'm thinking, two big ugly rubber pads Vs one long thin ugly rubber strip... what's the dif?

Well, I actually had a spare bumper, which was in wrong color... I'd guess the paint under the rubber strip might be a bit darker than the rest of the bumber - because of sunlight fading - and it'll probably be a bit scratched as well. But the main problem is that there are something like 8 holes in the bumper, as the rubber is attached with bolts, not just glued on - so you'll have to fill them up with something, and then go for a repaint. Shouldn't be too expensive though, since there's basically no prepping involved.
