Post An Ebay auction to share????

Ok, well I'm sure that there are a ton of us on this board who need some parts for thier 951/44's and I was wondering if this might be a away to do it.

This auction is for a 951 with front end damage. The parts I want (the late offset suspension) are still good. But i'm sure other people need things like the hatch, seats, interior bits, engine, transmission, etc, etc.... Now if we could get enough of us together to buy the car I bet we could get the parts we want at a resonable price....

Anyone else up for it?

I'm sure the hard part is going to be finding the place to part it out.....

I'm very dissappointed with a few recent eBay deals - I've bought and sold over 100 items on eBay, but recently got shafted on 2 deals - one was a Porsche part from a private seller, and another was on a new radar detector from a supposed dealer.

The cover arrived completely useless - damaged before it was sent, and easy to see that someone had tried to glue it all back together. The detector never arrived at all, and now the "dealer" has mulitple negative complaints in the past week.

The point is that you can't trust eBay ratings anymore. Both sellers had supposed "positive" ratings.

And now there is no recourse other than to post a negative comment.... No help from eBay or PayPal either!

Anyone got suggestions other than posting the names of these deadbeat eBay vendors??

Deadbeat vendor: Blueprintstore.com

Don't get anything from him. I got the "blueprints" for a 550 spyder but it was a joke. He said he'd refund my money in an email (20 dollars + shipping) and then I never heard from him again. Of course, it was way after I could post negative feedback when he finally got back to me.

I would be interested, Im looking for a 951 parts car for the entire engine and everything in the engine bay. I live in Virginia Beach, VA, so it would not be that far apart to take the car apart. Please email me with the link and I will see if the car is what I am looking for. KepkaMJ@mail.vmi.edu
Thanks for the idea.
