Default Broke a pin

Finally managed to get my flag mirror off, but I broke one of the six pins while I was trying to snake the wires through the mirror housing. I have the broken piece, but I figured it was easier to replace the female pin than to solder it together.

I read through the past posts; here's the question: I tried the "standard" Radio Shack female pin and it's too big. It looks like I need a 20-24 AWG, and this was 22-18.

Do I:
A. Just solder the old one back on? I'm thinking no.
B. Just electric tape the two pieces together? Thinking no again.
C. Find the right size female pin somewhere? Thinking yes.

I guess I could pull the male side as well, and up-size both, but that seems a bad idea as well. Just getting that freaking spring bolt to screw tight was enough of a headache for me.
