Default H&R Coilovers

So I heard that Automotion was having a 20% off sale. I called today and asked what coilovers they offered for 944/968 cars and they mentioned a H&R coilover setup which they would sell for about $1950. The sale ends tomorrow. Does anyone have any direct experience or comments about this setup ? It appears that H&Rs guidance is to remove the torsion bars with this setup. I presume the model number is HNR-RSS37827-1 by looking at other vendors websites.

I didn't think they made a coilover setup for 944's other than springs?

Do you have a link to the parts for sale that you found?

If converting to rear coilovers, then yes removing the torsions bars is often preferred but you can leave them in there as well to combine the spring rates.

I bought it. It's based on the Bilstein Firehawk/Escort componentry with H&R springs. Not sure if they changed the valving. Stiff but well-balanced. See my other posts about the setup.

Cheers,
Mike
