Sunroof Issue

Okay folks,
Sorry my first post is a cry for help but thanks for being here while I lurked and searched in the past!
So, early 85 n/a that won't (in key position 1) lower the arms for a release. Other than the release issue, ups and downs are smooth and pleasant.
I did man handle the top out via the manual operation in the trunk. I was able to fully disengage the two arms by turning the "hidden" bolt as well as put it back in without trouble.
Does this sound like a limit switch issue or am in darker territory?
Thanks,
Geoff

Check that the micro switch in the front center of the sunroof is being fully pressed by the tongue on the roof itself. There is a triangle-shaped area in the middle. If that switch is not fully pressed, the sunroof doesn't work properly.

Burning Brakes

And don't play to much around with it, It is pretty easy to brake the cable, if you do brake one of them, good luck. You will need to change the entire cables + tubing. I went the easy way with my past 944, I went for the clips.
