36 mph over the speed limit... oops.

Dude... I have never really been into car stereos, but that story makes me want to get exactly whatever amps and subs you have. I'm really glad he "cut you a break" with the 12-over ticket. I mean I wish he let you off with a warning but at least you can keep your license and your car, lol.
I have been pulled over by the cops too many times. I got a ticket 4 out of 5 times. Maybe it's a race thing, or karma, or luck, I don't know, whatever it is, if I see blue and red, I know I'm dead.
My radar detector helps. It... reminds me to slow down.
For me the best trick has been to only drive my ugly station wagon. Cops never bother me in that car... but I miss the 968.

It helps not having a red car either. They really do seem to concentrate on red cars more. This isn't for speeding, but I let my registration go for too long on the red car and I remember I got pulled over for it something like four times in one week. Twice on the way home one day. Again the next day. And once more a few days later as I was heading to the DMV to pay my reg.
I remember I let it go with my black car (had to pay for classes ), rolled past numerous black and whites, even had a few follow me in traffic for awhile and not once did I get pulled over.

Not really gonna go there other than to say sometimes a guy gets tempted... Imagine if you will two perfect lanes of highway with hash line shoulders...in ashphalt no less ON BOTH SIDES!!! empty highway, 8o A.M. visibility of the road, mebbe 3 or so miles, slightly downhill...What are you gonna do???
