951S vs. 930 magazine article
#16
pawning off, gimme a break... just cause she has bad taste! i happen to like the plaid interior! i think its that old-school nostalgic sorta thing. i think they are equally good cars. for a good driver, the 951S may be a little faster, however the mystique and quirkiness of the 930 makes it irresistable to some. personally, i'd like a nice 964, i dont really have a desire for a 951 or 951S, i like the early n/a style for my water pumper

Perhaps since she was the female of the group she did not want to be associated with the "softer, gentler" porsche but was out to prove she has kahunas too. I kind of get that feeling reading her reaction column. Of course this is completely unlike the genuine badass racer females we have here on Rennlist!
Whew! Did I talk fast enough to get myself out of that one?

Thanks Danno,
That was good reading and I think that the writer did a good job to describe both cars and also explains why I want a 930 so badly. I'm not saying that I don't love the 951 for its handling, power, and potential, but there is something about the 911's feel, and aura.
But if I was given the same choice in the end of the 930 vs the 951 and I had to live with the car on a daily basis, or it was my 2nd car I would still take the 951.

Dont forget the wicked 914s. God I love those cars.
