95 968 cab electrical gremlins
Yesterday got into the car, previously working well, and found the temp fan, headlights, windows not working, but radio and top did, and the car started okay. Turned off the car, restarted, all those work but the map light and glove box light don't work, and the LEDs on the locks are double flashing. No fuses blown, that i can see, and no loose wires that i can see.
Any ideas?
On a related issue, as long as i'm dealing with this, was going to install remote keyless entry. I've looked at the wires at the alarm box, and the wiring diagram, and i don't think the colors of the wires match. Any guidance?

Some background info on this car would be helpful in diagnosing the problems you're describing. How long has this been going on, or did you just buy this car?
The 968 cabrio is about as high on the evolutionary scale as you can get in the 924/944/968 series as far as electronics go, so your problems may be attributable to components that are different or nonexistent in the earlier cars.
Regardless, I would start with the chart in the owners manual checking which circuitry corresponds to which fuses and relays and start testing the features that are malfunctioning.
