Okay - Saturday night, I go out to the barn to take out the 951. I don't turn on the light, because the switch is currently blocked by my wetsaw, which is full of water. I then proceed to open the passenger door and pop out the sunroof. I place the roof on the 50 gallon bucket of sand (northeast) that resides between the overhead doors. Sitting between the two doors, I deduce that there is a huge amount of clearance for the 951 to back out. So - now distracted by my previous thought, I set out to climb into the driver's side and back out. EL CRUNCHO - TURNS OUT THAT THERE WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH SPACE PROVIDED THE PASSENGER DOOR IS SHUT. The irony is that I destroyed my door with my sunroof. It somehow managed not to scratch the fender. My wife thought it was funny.

She laughed pretty hard, she is a real comedian. She will probably do something like wrap the car up in "caution" tape before I get home.

If this happened to me my wife would laugh as well. You just have to find the humor in the situation.

I guess we all do stupid things at one time or another - part of being human! If I could stop lauging for a minute I'd most likely think of one or two stories to tell as well!

I do feel for ya though - I'm not without compassion!
