I was there, there was purple 350 was driven by a 2 time E stock champion and was on hoosiers. Lets just say it did well. Not sure how the one in the pictures did, but the Z's have been doing very well at all of the auto-x's I've been to lately. Eveyone comments on how well balanced they are.
The z06 vette was only 2 weeks old, but the driver was OK, and apparently has the means to fix it easily.

It was nice to see some 944's out there!

I think I talked to you for a bit. That course was tighter than I expected it to be, still a lot of fun though. They need to find a new parking lot that isn't all chewed up. I'm still waiting for the times to go up. Check out www.themclub.net

Cool! Looks like you guys had a blast!
Sorry I couldn't make it: I was too tired from Lime Rock to move! (BTW: Lime Rock was a blast!)

See you guys on April 27th: the start of the NNJR PCA season.

Yarin: Love the "custom racer's tape" on your car. Cool.

Yarin, Thanks

I really did have a better feel for the car. I did have a some great times, too bad they weren't as good as yours!

Yarin: Yup that was me you talked to, the course was good, but too many sweepers for my liking. Early in the year every lot will be slippery due to the harsh winter, but it would be nice to get on some fresh pavement every once and a while. I didn't get to see you run, I was too busy playing with my suspension, maybe next time.I finally got my settings close to correct on my last run, but I clipped the very last cone on the course. Lime Rock in 2 weeks, hope the weather holds up.

Is NNJR club memebers only this year like the NY region?

"Is NNJR autox open only to NNJR PCA members?"
Then the answer is no: everyone iswelcome to play!

that was what I was asking, the NY region went to members only for some events due to their events on LI being popular for attracting other car clubs who have a penchant for attracting "trouble". Last year at tobay became a huge supercar meet and eventually turned into an all out drag-fest down the parkway, not good. How many runs do you guys usually get in at NNJR?

I have never seen any " trouble" at NNJR Autocross events. There are always quite a number of Non PCA members. You get 7-9 runs.

We're going to the Hershey meet that weekend so probably won't make the NNJR AutoX.

Z - Thanks! I still managed to mark up the lower bumper though, a few cones must have jumped out in front of me.

Lot 18 at the meadowlands is a nice lot, but the pavement gets real nasty in some areas. Definetely not "tire friendly." They used to run another lot at the meadowlands which was freshly paved and very smooth, but it scared the horses. Oops.

The MetroNY AutoX is this Sunday at Tobay Beach, NY. It is for PCA members only, so the NNJR PCA people can come too. Hopefully we'll be there.

NNJR has wayyy more people than Metro, but they still manage to get the 6-9 runs done. Even with 100+ cars in attendance...

I will hopefully be at the Metro event this weekend with my car...with shiny new fabcar A-arms installed.

The color...well thats what we had! White bare metal rustoleam (sp?) primer than that snazzy blue color to finish it off. Rust isn't gonna touch those things!

results are up!
they got my name and last run wrong (should have been a 47.385+1) but that's ok. Its always nice to see some of my friends finish up at the top of there classes. This season is going to be a blast.
