Default S2 cam regrind

Has anyone got an S2 with aftermarket cams on? I've found a few places that off the job but I'm yet to see someone actually use one! I'm thinking of having the job done but would like some feedback first!

Wow, not a a single person? I'm assuming its not worth the effort then? Only on race engines where the series allows certain cam changes

I think that because there just aren't that many S2s out there few people have tried aftermarket cams or other mods. I've been hesitant to spend much in engine mods in my S2 engine rebuild because there just isn't that much in the way of first hand experience and proof of performance gain.

Depends.. What did the guy want for the job? S2 parts seem to command a premium so as far as cams go, they're not something I'd just replace on a whim. As a replacement while perhaps rebuilding an engine though..

yeah, I was having mine rebuilt and was thinking of a regrind, simply because it seems no one has done it before! I chickened out though, especially after I found out the P/O put the wrong clutch on so had about 5k miles left... £500 out of pocket instantly

I couldn't get a price until they had the cams unfortunately, only Piper Cams in the UK said they could do it, everyone else I've asked just said they don't do it.
