Default Black Sea R&D torque tube (TT) Super Bearings for the 924/944/968 Porsches!

Hello,

Just wanted to make an announcement that we have our TT Super Bearings now available for the 924/944/968 Porsches. This is in addition to a thread on the "944 Turbo and Turbo S" forums titled "Constantine's Torque Tube Bearings...." (sorry, don't know how to put a link to that thread here).

We haven't officially made the announcement on this forum and thought to do so to get the word out a bit more.

These use the same internals as our 928 TT Super Bearings, just the outer carriers have been changed to fit the smaller ID of the 924/944/968 TT. A picture of this new bearing unit can be seen in our new avatar.

These units use larger bearings and have other changes which allow owners to rebuild their TTs to a higher standard than what is currently offered, to include new TTs from Porsche.

Pricing for a set of four (4) is $655.00, plus shipping. As reference Porsche used four (4) bearing units in their 944 TTs.

Limited quantity left before we have to re-order.

As a promotion special, we will rebuild your TT for free, owner pays for shipping charges. The rebuild includes rust treatment and re-coating of the TT. We use FedEx ground for shipping and the costs vary from $45.00 -$75.00+ one way depending on where in the country you are. This is for a limited time only, meaning until this first batch runs out.

We are located in Vero Beach, FL 32963.

Cheers,

I can personally vouch for these bearings. I was one of the test cars and they have run flawless. My car is also strictly a track car so it recieves quite a bit of abuse. Also, Constantine was a great guy to deal with. I would recommend this rebuild 100% vs doing a stock rebuild. Same price, way better end result. You'll never have to worry about the TT again.
