Default flickery gauge

when ever i press on the brake pedal the battery volt gauge flickers for a second and sometimes (usually in the morning when its cold out) the temp gauge runs hot and flickers, but i know its full of s@#* cause ive replaced everything coolant parts wise. ive also cleaned all the body grounds but if i feel like it i just might pull the dash and check the connections. is there anything else that could cause this?

when it was cold out and i would turn the lights on at night my gauge would drop and my belts would squeal and my volt gauge was flickering all the time, i tightened the belt to the alternater and it fixed my problem for me. maybe an idea.
