I love the new facination with "drift" There is even a show on TNN that is nothing but guys drifting their 240 sylvias around streets in Tokyo. Just drifting drifting drifting every corner. I'd love to see someone try and drift a dump truck around a corner.

I have a suggestion..... take it off the street and put a corvette engine with alum heads, trans, and differential in the car. Then you can make it a drag car. Either that or even less expensive, get a used vette even though drifting in a torquy LSD vette may get you killed even on a track. I heard that in Latvia the streets have very little rules and worse than driving a cab in New York from a friend of mine in Estonia who has visited your country. If you abuse a 944, have spare cars and the mech skills to back it up. It is cheaper to replace trannys for me than the rings and pinion since I have 5 of them sitting around. Even then, I have only broken one 944 tranny in my life by missing 3rd gear powershifting my gutless 84 944 at Buttonwillow track because its so slow. If you are beating any cars in a straight line with that 944, then your competition is a joke. I think my stock $700 74 camaro can blow away the 944 na in the quarter mile. If you want respect and good advice here, be responsible before you hurt someone or yourself.

You can always use NAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWS. After that, I can sell you a used engine along with a transmission.
