Default 10% off specialty tools & Kingsborne wiresets thru Memorial Day

An Explanation to our Non-US Members...
In the US, everybody has to file Income Tax Returns with the federal government by April 15th, which was yesterday. Not sure how it works in other countries, but many of us end up getting a "tax refund", a nice little annual windfall of which every 44 owner has the duty to allocate at least a small portion to their car 8) So, in honor of the Internal Revenue Service's annual gift to all of us:

TAX REFUND$ = TOOL$ & TUNE-UP$
JUST EXTENDED thru the end of May!!!!, enjoy 10% discount on the following products:

Specialty Tools for your 44
Earlier this month, we found a manufacturer of some pretty cool Porsche-specific tools, including the very useful P231 and P234 oil seal arbors, useful for proper replacement of the balance shaft and flywheel-side seals. They also have handy tools like the offset flair wrench for oil line fittings, timing belt locking bar, flywheel lock, soft insert lug sockets, O2 removal sockets, and a bunch of other stuff.

Kingsborne Wiresets
Vaughan Scott turned me on to these wiresets, which we've been able to source now for a couple of months. These are really top notch wires, Vaughan and Chris run these in their ITB cars. They are made to OEM spec, so unlike the el cheapos at your FLAPS, these come with the plug shields required for the 44, and are cut to the NA and 951-specific lengths. Also available in red, blue or black.

Appearance Products
Robert Budd's Classic 9 Leathershop has some of the nicest products for restoring that tired interior on your toofah. We provided a 931 hood to Bob to make a 931-specific version of his excellent hood liner heat shields. And having just installed a newly recovered dash in the 941, I can tell you first hand, the quality of his work is second to none. His products may not be the cheapest you'll find, but for the quality, we believe they are the best value you will find, and the 10% discount only makes it a better value.

The best part about the Tax Refund Specials: you don't have to be in the US to take advantage of the 10% discounts

Sorry I ended up owing the government this year, as usual. Maybe time to have some kids or buy a Prius.

Yeah, I haven't figured out a solution for those of you that owe but of course, the discount is still available to everybody

Anybody who is participating in the Stage8 group buy, we can take a look at combined shipping where it makes sense to provide additional savings. This might be particularly applicable to non-US customers...

Hmmm....City of Detroit owes me nearly $1000 in tax refunds for the past two years...wonder if I'll ever see any of that money??? Would come in handy for a new carpet set and one of those nifty 2.0L valve spring compressors...

Kids will save you a ton of money because you'll have to sell the 944!

I have the opposite problem. I lost a deduction each of the last two years because my boys have moved out and are on their own. Still get the deduction for my daughter but only 3 years left of that...

How about you lobby the government to give me a recycler credit I can use to buy parts from you since I continually repair my 25 year old vehicle rather than spend carbon credits to create a new one?

BTW are those 8mm wires? Also can you order the kit with a primary wire that has a coil end that matches up with the MSD blaster style as opposed to OEM? (The male ends are slightly different)

Thanks.

I got a couple of PMs and emails from folks who haven't gotten their refunds yet, so I'm going to extend the TOOL$ & TUNE-UP$ discount through 31 May

Don't forget, still time to save a few hard earned dollars on tools and tune-ups.

I'll be traveling to visit my son over the weekend (he's at the US Army School of Music in Norfolk), so I'll do my best to stay on top of questions and orders...have an aircard so should have access most of the weekend.
