I got some mounts made by "PE"? They say made in Germany. Does anybody know anything about these?

If the concensus is that aftermarket mounts suck, why don't you all quit selling them? Oh wait, it's a marketing trick; people are naturally cheap (stupid) and will buy the aftermarket crap first. Then when they wise up they will pay double the second time for genuine (good) mounts.

Good question - unfortunately, the answer is not as good...

If we don't offer them, someone else will. However, if you ask or call, we will tell the truth about them. Some folks actually have good luck with the aftermarket versions, but many do not. It's a matter of choice - they'll "get you by" for inspections and sales.

Also, what would you all complain about if the motor mounts lasted forever and the thermostat snap ring was easy to get out

Yikes, I'm not touching the waterpump/thermostat/timing belt. I don't like antifreeze and I don't like messing with things that can lead to bent valves.
