Post camshaft broke

My cam shaft is chewed up where the woodruff key goes and I want to explore possibilities of having the machinist cut a new slot for the key, to avoid need to purchase a new cam. (however he may charge more than for a good used one?) The timing mark on the cam gear would have to be at indexed at the proper angle. So I would like to find out this angle. Damage is result from 12 point 10 x 65 mm bolt that goes into end of cam coming loose.

I got a used cam for you for $30 plus shipping in good shape. Its the cheapest option.
