Default Ride height measurement. Is my car level?

I am trying to measure the ride height on my 944. My mechanic changed and reindexed the torsion bars, and I find it to be lower than I wanted. Probably too low.

I am measuring ride height from ground to top of wheel well on the fender (aligned with wheel center). Assuming same wheels/tires, and that I am using said measurement, does it need to be equal front/rear for the car to be level? Or is the car level when the back looks slightly lower?

I have seen pictures of 944 claimed to be level where the space between wheel well and tire is clearly not equal in the front and in the rear.

Right now, and with this measurement, rear is at 24" 1/4 and front is at 25". I am going to use the eccentric to raise the back (I have adjustable coilovers in the front). But I am afraid that I am going to have to get the torsion bars indexed again since I was shooting for 25.5" height in the rear...

I measured mine from the ground to the bottom of the car body.... just in front of the rear wheel, and just to the rear of the front wheel.

When all 4 corner measurements match, its level.

Using the wheel well as a measurement point is not ideal. Body panels vary from car to car. Per the manual, ride height measurements are taken from specific points underneath.
