Post Torn CV Boot

So Saturday, as I'm changing adjusting my sway bar to full firm, I notice my driver side inner CV joint rubber boot as a tear in it.
I had my car in the shop to give it a once-over since I'm doing two more DE events in the fall, and do not want any surprises. Funny thing: they didn't notice any cracks or tears. Probably because it may have cracked on the way home from the shop. There was no visible cracks in the beginning of August, when I went through a DE tech. And since there is no grease all over the rear of the car, I have to believe that the tear is a recent happening.
It's a good thing I noticed this now, because:
1. 2 day autocross event this weekend.
2. 2 days of DE / track at Lime Rock in two weeks, and I would have failed the tech for that!

Such is the life of a Porsche owner! Just wanted to share...
