Ian a couple of questions,
a) Have you noticed any cooling differences with the ducted hood? I.e. is it evacuating heat better?
b) What gave you the rideheight in the back? Is it your Leda's off the old car or did you tweak the concentrics?
Nice pics. I'm glad you finally showed what your dad's car looks like. Did he get rid of the M3?

Now if only I could vent out the intercooler's air....
b) The ride hight is done with torsion bars and coil-overs, the torsion bars were reindexed a bit lower and then the coils are used to firm things up a bit.
c) (ok, you didn't label it c, but if figure it fits) Yep my dad sold the M3, he is enjoying the 911 and notes what an improvement it is.

It actually cools the EBC solinoid, the mounting spot for the cruise seemed like a good place to put it.... hopefully the heat off the headers won't cook it....

Ian, looking good! Get those A/F curves straightened out, and you'll have the better ride (don't tell your Dad I said that!)
"Where does that hood duct lead to on the 951?"
... the same place it does on the 931 that it was originally found on: into the open engine compartment to cool/vent the header area.
I'd forgotten how much I like the look of the 931 hood with the 951 front end - guess I'd better get busy with the black car!
Also, for you guys that like the silver decal and emblem on the red car (it's a little less 80's that the red/blk combo, IMO) - stay tuned, I'm trying black on black on the new car.
(Now if I could get Ian's performance-goals to rub off on my new ride...)
Once again, good stuff. Ian makes the SE guys proud.

keith,
I don't make anyone proud, I just hope to keep my car running....
I do hope you complete the 931 hood on the black car as well, it would be great to have two of them in the charlotte area....
