Default Replacing ball joints on non-rebuildable control arms?

From what I can surmise, the 968 control arms and all control arms manufactured after 1998 are labeled as "Non-rebuildable." I know there are some pretty resourcefull guys out there and am wondering if anyone has figured out a way to replace the ball joints on the "non-replacable ball joint" control arms from a 968.

Looking forward to hearing the results of this....

FWIW, just got off the phone with Max @ RS Barn. They have a variety of ball joint kits that can be used to replace the ball joints on the 968 "non replaceable" ball joint control arms.

Max has our kits (rennbay) listed for all 968 arms on the RSbarn site. Unless he has a new way of installing them, there is still no way to get them into a set of arms that do not have a snap ring holding the ball joint in place.
A small minority of 968 cars did come with the 944 vintage control arms but most used the "fold over" method of holding the ball joint in found on ALL the replacement arms produced by Porsche after around 98.

I ended with Rennbay track kit that has bronze bushings. Machined new lower groove for stopper ring and used the original lower plate that suited better than Rennbay kit.

Nice cutting marks

Get the one with the bronze bushings.
