Hi there Mike!
What are the mods on your car?
Did you do them yourself?
Can you recommend any shops in Sweden for mods?

How did you do that???? I love the look, I've been trying to figure a way to do it without breaking the bank...are they painted with silkscreened numbers, or aluminum? I'm very curious to hear about this!

Also, how is it at night? I presume it's still a front-lit gauge, how well does the silver with black lettering show up?

i had silver face guages and loved them. One thing i did that i really liked was i used a sharpie and colored the red needles black. the needles absorb the color very very well, i got so many compliments on how they looked. i posted some pics on here many moons ago with them, if you cant find them tell me and i'll get some pics off my digital cam. looks good.

I scanned in the original guages on a flatbed, then used photoshop to mod it. I actually changed the redline, and added in a few other little features to make it look a little more like the Autometer guages on the a-pillar. I used an effect then to get the aluminium finish, and then printed it on some high quality photopaper. The paper is probably a bit too thick, as I do have problems seeing the idiot lights though it. I was also toying with the idea of painting the surround silver to match the others, but I wasn't sure how that would come out so.......

At night is no problem, it's still frontlit so..... I actually have two little LED lights at the moment, as i ruined my lightbars attemting Perry951's LED modification (I'm a bit ham-fisted!!), but hopefully that's just temporary until i get up the courage to try it again!

The car is quite heavily modded, but not setup right yet, I haven't been down a dyno yet to sort it out, but i have a friend at work who races Alfa's, so he's trying to set me up with a decent dyno man! I've just got the Pro-m hanging out of the glovebox at the moment while i get it close to tune.

Schnellfahrer, the only tuner i know in Sweden is www.sanden.nu , but i've not dealt with him at all yet. I keep toying with the idea though! Olli or Sweanders can probably help you out more there anyway.... I'm not a local!

Since you have the gauges scanned can you send the file as an email attachment?
