Default Anyone close to Johnstown, Ohio?

Is anyone close to Johnstown, Ohio? Was looking to pick up this turbo; I'd be willing to pay someone to check the car out to make sure it was in good condition. Couldn't find a service location close enough for a PPI.

I live in Westerville Ohio and I use Dave Wenger at Northend wrench as my mechanic. He is good guy races a 911 with the local Porsche Club and His son has a 944. They are located on Indianola just south of Morse.

Holy cow no kidding. A very nice car with $5k+ worth of top notch upgrades for only $500 more - no brainer.

buddy of mine looked at the car at dotson a few weeks ago. car is rough. its currently not starting on its own, has some vacuum leaks and what was described as a strange grinding noise around 1 bar. now that being said the car has been for sale there for a looong time and i bet could be bought for 4500. for 4500 it would make for a good buy.

Hmm that probably explains why they wanted to move it so bad. Thanks for all the replies guys; I'll try to take a look at Mike's car.

I looked at the car at Dotson when it first came in, he claims all these repairs but had no paperwork to back any of it up. It is a sunroof delete model. He doesn't bargain very much at all, the previous Turbo he had was on the lot for almost a year before he finally sold it, same with the S2 Convertable he had there for almost 2 years.

I looked at the S2 cab he had as well and it looked to me that it was pretty poorly maintained and somewhat overpriced

If you are going to Dodson's, look at the Ferrari or lambo, or did he sell em ?
