injectors leaking out of the bottom WTF??
On the way to florida I had one injector start leaking out of the bottom. I replaced it when I got to pc beach. Now tonite I see another one doing the same thing. Is this common on these? I've never seen this before on anyothers. Leaking at the bottom of the body. Leaks all the fuel pressure out. <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" />

Did you replace the entire injector or just the seals? I have the same problem, #4 is leaking all over the top of the engine. I was going to replace the rubber on all of them with the seal kits you see in the parts catalogs. Of course if I don't replace the clutch cylinders too it won't do me much good; I think my car is getting impatient with me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

I bought a whole new injector. The o rings at the botom aren't leaking it's the body of the injector itself where lower half mates to the top. I have thousands of injector o rings literally. Those would only leak vacuum not fueal as there should be no fuel present past the pintle with engine off. Plus it's a fire hazard. In my years of owning a auto repair shop I've never seen injectors leak like that.
