I like your car. Looks like it's in good condition and very stock.

Early 944s are great cars. My first was a '83 with 88K miles I bought 9 years ago. It now has 202K and is still running strong.

That thing looks great! I wish my paint/wheels looked like that.

If you haven't already, do a search here for "timing belt." If left unchecked for 15k miles, they explode.

Excellent condition for a 19 year old car! It looks better than most late models I've seen.
If the PO maintained the mechanical parts as well as the rest, you have an awesome car.
I've had mine for a week and a day.

Looks good. I really like the early interior in black. It looks a lot better than the usual brown. The only thing I see is the pass. side of the front spoiler looks a little tweaked.

Nice early car! looks very clean. That tweaked spoiler can be adjusted at the fender brace.

Find out about the timing belts! Go NOW to you Porshce dealer and buy a DME relay $40 /-. I say this b/c if you have a "no start, stall" problem and keep a spare DME relay in the glove box, you can save yourself some diagnosis time/frustration.

Great to have another user/victim. Welcome to the Obsession

Welcome,

I believe that I have the same look in the front valance. Mine is missing a bolt that holds it in place. I'm going to fix it as soon as I finish installing my Koni strut upgrade.

Oh, and yes I second the "if you don't know when the belts were changed do it". These engines are interference engines and if the timing belt breaks the pistons will hit the valves.

I believe the recommended service interval is 30K miles, retensioned at 1-2K miles after installation and then retensioned again at 15K miles.
