Although SSBC makes a decent caliper that will fit a 1.25" width rotor, I am leaning more towards Wilwoods because they are quality and have come down in prices in the last few years, not to mention their 5.25" bolt-spread pattern calipers make for nice conversion brackets on the 944-968 spindles.

Also the best bank-for-the-buck in caliper improvement (heat transfer) is cross-drilling the piston perimeter and use high boiling point brake fluid. Crossover tubes are fine until a rock-chip hits one at 100mph. For the most part even big brake kits don't get the dedicated track use.
