I took my 6'5", 300lbs+ grandfather for a ride, and aside from being a little cramped on the sides, he had no problems sitting in the car. Getting out of a car being so low, on the other hand, is a completely different story...

I remember the horror stories behind the contortions and modifications they had to do to get Magmum to fit into the Ferrari 308GTS. Things like shaving down the seat foam and making custom seat-rails. Even then he always had to drive the car with the top off.

6'3". I have no issues with head room....My 951 has a better seating postion than even my wifes 2002 honda....I bang my head/shoulder every other time I get in and out of that damn thing. <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Well, for the few doubts that remained about buying a 951 (or 944 should I get impatient waiting for a nice Turbo) - it sounds like this is the car for me.

Thanks all.. now I get to be one of those people who say that without this list, it'd never happen. Soon, I'll get to post pictures and start the mods.

Definately go for the 951!

oh... 6'3 and no problems. 944's have a LOT more room than a lot of sports cars ive been in! Ever try to squeeze in a Z3??
