So I assume I need these mounts for my early car-and they will fit. I'll order them up and let you know how it does.</strong><hr></blockquote>
I recently upgraded from the stock '82 front bar to Turbo S front and rear bars. The new front brackets that fit the 26.8mm bushings were $12 from the Porsche dealer. There is such a huge difference. I was amazed!

Ok, here's my story:
This summer, I upgraded my rear sway bar (16mm) to the M030 968 3way adjustable sway bar (19mm). Started on the medium setting, now I'm on full firm. I left the front bar alone. Why? Becuase firming up the front will cause more understeer: something I don't like.
So, how do I like the bar? Well, at autocross, it does swing out the back quicker. But on the track, I'm still pushing through the slower corners, mainly due to my lack of smoothness at turn it.

WOOOOOHOOOOO--thanks for all of your input guy's!!
I got the correct brackets bolted up last night, I'm giddy like a little schoolgirl here (and that's scary for a guy my size).
I had to go in and watch Monday Night Football, so I haven't had a chance to drive the car-I'll probably wait until late tonight
The next question is a shock upgrade Koni, Bilstein, other?

As far as springs and shock go, Go with Koni yellow sports. Weltmeister 250Lb progressive front springs and 28mm Torsion bars. With this simple setup your car will out handle most things on the road. I have a setup with Toyo 225/245's, Turbo S sway bars, 250Lb welts, and 28mm torsion bars. This car is so fast through the corners!! We have the advantage of having an early car that is lighter.
