Guys, it's pouring here and I think in Charlotte and I'm wondering if it's still going on. I don't want to drive 3 hours and have it be cancelled.

They aren't going to cancel. I was out there this morning before the runs started and we had 4 951s (including me), but apparently one door handle broke, and one set of keys were locked in a car before the event.

I am returning this afternoon with Adam (getting some nighttime runs in!!!), and Dave and his son should be there in a couple of hours, so there will be at least 4 of us there when you get here.

Barring any mechanical difficulties, I will run until daylight.

They don't cancel because of rain, but when it gets really heavy, they will sit it out until it lightens up. Once the lot is paid for, we RUN!

Bring some rainwear, it will be WET working the course.

If anyone needs a place to crash, we still have room.

 

Crap I wish I would have gotten this reply earlier. I didn't have regular access to a computer.

Note to self: Get EVERYONE's cell numbers before heading out.
