Post That's it!!! I'm buying a 951.

I'm tired of spending money on my N/A or even thinking about spending money. The never ending search for power... Sure you can get get power out of the car, but it costs too damn much for so little. I am now in the process of looking for a 951. It just makes more sense. I live in the Toronto area. If anyopne knows of anyone who is selling one, please let me know.

You've probably reached the right conclusion. The na's are great cars, wonderful handling and a delight to drive. But if you expect blinding acceleration, it just ain't there without the infusion of large amounts of $$$.

After six years great with an na, I did the same soul-searching and wound up with a 968. My priority isn't maximum acceleration, but I wanted more than I could reasonably expect from my '88 na. Of course, this was several years ago, before the supercharger kits. I could have done one of those, and brake and suspension upgrades, for a good bit less than the price difference between my '88 and my '94... but resale value on the '88 would have improved very little. I also have doubts about the long-term reliability of any highly modified car used as a daily driver.

Jim, bad back, leaky roof, u-joint problems w. the Toyota, gotta cover for the boss (gone to a funeral), don't f*&k with me today!!!
