Let me just say this is by far my favourite 924 on the entire 'list. Great job! The interior looks fantastic... probably the best feature of the whole vehicle! The paint work looks great, too. The deleted side markers are a must, those crazy big-*** round ones are terribly hideous!

May I say go for the 17" cups and spray them a satin black? I'd also vote for a set of 951 brakes or the wilwoods to pretty things up!

GREAT looking car! Bravo!

Dude thank you soooo much!!! Your the one who started my whole interior transformation! A lot the 924S' I've seen people have made fun off because there not a 944 or because they are just beat up. I can't stand that. Lol. So I'm trying to make my 924S the best 924S', and better than some 944's out there. Oh but dude for sure. Here is what else is on my list to be completed:

1. 17 inch cup rims
2. Red 951 brakes with drilled rotors
3. GT3 seats
4. Dash and door panels done in leather. Then it'll be complete.
5. If my engine blows up (God please don't. Knock on wood.) I'll buy a wrecked 951 and swap the turbo engine into my 924S! Make it look totally sleeper.

Nice good looking paint. Love to get my car painted as well. I hate orange peel and with my luck the place I would take my car would turn my car in to orange peel mobile .

Glad I could have some sort of influence. Your interior looks excellent. Can't wait to see the rest of the mods on your to-do list. Maybe next time I'm around Chico, I'll give you a shout so I can see this car for myself!

No, no. If you do that, everyone's going to go on thinking it's some sort of Audi.

Thanks! I think I'll leave the decals on there. New ones. But..... Audi is much better than someone thinking it's a VW. Haha

What Audi looks like a 924? The closet thing they would mistake it for from behind is a volvo (volvo 240 taillights) or a r-x7 at most.

I meant for that to be a joke. I've had friends pick on my 924S with the Audi/Volkswagen jokes. It's more about the company relationships back in the day, as well as the early 924's (but not the late 924S) having an Audi power plant. The car was originally a Volkswagen design, but Porsche went on to purchase the rights and produced it.

I'll have to disagree with you on the Volvo 240 thing. They look nothing alike. RX-7, sure. But in interest of not hijacking this threat, let's move along...

This is what I was talking about by looking like a volvo. See anything familar?

Be pround of your car. its part of the Porsche heritage
I always tell those Porsche snobs. You know who you are. That if it wasnt for the 944 You may not be driving that 911 or a Porsche at all. The 944 saved the Porsche brand.

Thanks! I like hearing that..... Haha.

No I totally got the joke. No offense. Lol. I was just kidding around because a lot of these parts I've torn off my 924S have the VW and Audi logo. Lol. And those Volvo taillights are identical to ours. Other than they would really fit, but still. Oh and if anything a RX-7 would be the closest to it. I mean. I swear from a distance it's a 924S. But not... Mazda.
