Interest in 24mm sway bar delrin bushings?
Currently there is no vendor who offers a delrin inner bushing for the front 24mm sway bar. This is the standard bar offered on '86 Turbos. Most likely some N/A owners have upgraded to this size front bar. If you have any oil leaks they will kill the stock rubber bushings quickly. Also as we all know the rubber bushings allow for deflection which prevents the sway bar from working 100% until the deflection in the rubber is complete. I am thinking of having a set made for myself by a well respected vendor (not a sponsor so I won't name them) and would like to know if anyone else would be interested.
Please don't reply with "why don't you just upgrade to the larger bars?" or anything like that.

I don't have the 24mm bar however it seems like an excellent idea, the 24mm rubber bushings are by far the most expensive of all the stock bar sizes. I'm rather surprised they weren't already being made.
Bump for the cause.

I too have upgraded by front anti-sway bar to 24mm and would be interested in replacing the rubber bushings to delrin if not for the improved suspension but also to resolve the issue of the rubber expanding due to leaking power steering fluid.
Don't know why someone hasn't thought of it before.
Keep us updated...thanks!

If you wanted polyeurothane bushings, then superpro makes them. I have no objections to eurothane for the street, but delrin is superior for longevity. I have considered buying a set of generic poly bushings from the local parts store and shaping them for the front inner sway bar. 15/16 is equal to 24mm.
