Post Anyone using a stable energies harness bar??

How long do the shoulder straps have to be for a 5 point harness H style to mount to the rear seat belt mounting points? Also do you have the bar mounted to the B or C pillar?

I am using the Stable Energies harness bar. I have a 6 point G-Force harness setup, with an H-strap to keep the shoulder harnesses in place.
I am using the rear seat belt mounting points for the shoulder harnesses and I'm using eye bolts and a latched clip so that I can remove the shoulder harnesses when I'm not on the track.

My bar is mounted to the C pillar: at 6'2", mounting it on the B-pillar would restrict my seat movement too much.

The setup works very well, even with the stock seats. (Yeah, I know: I'm planning on getting seats with the pass-through as soon as my budget allows... )

Do you have any specific concerns with such a setup?

HTH,

Zman,

How long do the shoulder straps have to be to use the C pillar bar mounting with the straps going to the rear seat mounts? I am 6'1" and i have to recline the stock seat also.

I have them at home: I'll have to check. I believe that is wasn't an issue with my G-force belts: I didn't need to order any 'extra long' shoulder harness.

I'll let ya know tonight.
