Post Old school and a new alternative

The Cup Car motorsport setup was designed in 1985. It hasn't changed.

Here's a look at an AWESOME alternative.

From left to Right:

The Moriss/Bilstein motorsport setup looks like an AMAZING alternative to the cup car setup.
Here's is a short list of Pro's

You can clearly see how the newer style Bilstein tubes are MADE for motorsports!- They dont even look like their street shocks. look at the weak looking joints on the bushing carrier for the cup tubes!!! I am VERY interested in this setup, I got a quote....... this makes it even better!.........
the cup kits go for $1,585 right now............ this new Moriss kit $1,595.

Luke,

This looks like exactly what I am looking for. I do have a couple of question.

1. The Bilstein’s rears look as if there is a valve on them, is this for adjustability? If so is this an air or some kind of oil setup.

2. This car is mainly for street but will see DE and AutoX when complete. Which setup of the three Bilstein’s would you recommend

3. If the shock is indeed adjustable with this valve, do you know of any set up to do this from within the car? Like having a firm, extra firm, insanely firm settings switch? Just a thought.

4. I am attempting to eliminate my torsion bars with a setup like this. Would you recommend any enforcement of the shock mount in the rear before attempting this?

Thanks in advance.

1. The vavle on the bottom is for gasing the dampres up.

2. This setup is so good because it can vavled for the street/auto-x and when it comes down to full blown racing one day they can be revalved easyly

3.Not currently

4. Yes you can remove your t-bars and NO i would not reinforce you stock mounting points (its not needed)

The setup is not adjustable but I would rather
have a GOOD REPEATABLE non adjustable stup than a poor non adjustable unit.........

But the bilstiens can be made adjustable for
around 600.00 more for the set
