I noticed today that my radio reception went bad, and I found the following cause: The antenna is broken right as it enters (exits?) the windshield. It looks like a piece of copper foil that comes out of the windsheild and then ducks into the engine compartment.

Any ideas on how to repair the antenna? I searched this forum for the terms "windshield" and "antenna" and came up empty.

i suppose you could solder it like other electrical wires. Or maybe use the stuff they sell to repair rear window defrosters.
