Looks like the deal on my n/a fell through. If anyone's interested, lemme know. Julie, maybe there is something we can work out?

Why are you selling it? I just got laid off and will probably have to sell mine too. We should do that Starved Rock get together before that happens.

Just keep it, I have 2 of them. Everyone should have a back up 944 just in case one breaks down.

Keep the car as a spare. Its a sign it wants to stay with you.

You guys are a hoot Don't tempt me too hard on the "keep it" thing. I would LOVE to. However, 3 cars for one driver seems a little extreme to me. I have to keep the Exploder for these IL winters. With the new 951 in the driveway, I can't see keeping two Porsches. God, what a dilemma I know people that'd kill to have ONE Porsche! I'm in no hurry to sell. We'll see what shakes out. I need to finish the head gasket job first, but my mother's death has set me back a bit. I'll keep folks (that's southern for y'all) updated as I go along. I'd love to see her go to a rennlister if I can't keep her. Maybe one of the only other female rennlisters

Michelle. I got three vehicles. Definitely better than two. (and there have been mornings when all three wouldn't start)

I know what you mean about too many cars. I plan to sell the NA to get a 968 or an S2 since the wife won't let me bulldoze her garden to build an addition on the garage. She just isn't reasonable!

BTW, she works for the public defender's office here in Dayton, Ohio. I hope your office isn't as screwy as hers!

Shortly after I bought it, at the height of the tire controversy, the Firestone on the front blew. Fortunately, the Limited has the air ride suspension and there is no documented flip of a Limited Exploder. However, the name has stuck with me and I can't help using it

I've certainly been in the situation of no vehicles running. It ain't fun. I think I would be greatly distressed to own three cars and have none of them running.

944pete: My office is DEFINITLY screwed up, but I love every minute of it. It's great to be able to help out people in need. Is your wife an attorney there? Maybe I'd have someone to chat with if we ever have a rennlist get-together
