Default Oil cooler seal replacement question.

I am about to replace the oil cooler seal on my 1988 944S. I have the complete kit from Black Forest Racing. I read on clarks garage that I should use an alignment tool for the oil pressure relief valve. Is there anything i can use without buying the tool?

I am rebuilding a failed engine because I tried to skimp and align it using the valve itself on my S motor. Didnt work and the rod/ main bearings failed due to low oil pressure. Just get the tool.

I was able to do it without the tool... not the best way though.
