Default dme connection

i unplugged the dme recently and found that there are 2 of the 35 copper clip/connectors missing on the main plug. is it supposed to be this way? cause those 2 pins would not be making contact, i will check tomarrow so i can tell you which pins they are exactly . i have narrowed my recent no start/intermittent crappy idle to this plug connection and if i unplug and plug it back in it will idle good, but over time it will get crappy and not start until i unplug and plug it back in again. also the pins on the dme itself are not corroded looking and i refloated the dme solders too. this is an 87 n/a 8v

You could hit them all with something like "de ox it" and work the connector a little bit. That stuff can work wonders.
