Post head gasket

I am getting a 951 motor with a blown head gasket I am curious if 924s 944 and 951's all used the same head gasket. I am going to leave the motor stock for about a year and then upgrade it to ~270 crank horsies. Also I am wondering if the stock head gasket is fine or if I should go with a widefire gasket.

Also if some of you knowledgable ones would give me a rundown of what all seals/gaskets I need to replace, I would appreciate it.

Also where are good (read cheap) places to get the gaskets of choice.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Simple, get a widefire head gasket set from Paragon Products for a very good price. It has everything you need to replace the front seals. Change the belts too. It might be a good idea to do a waterpump and rollers if you do not know the history on them. Kind of a "might as well while you are in there" type of thing. This way you are up to snuff for the added power in the future.

Widefire is a must if you are raising boost. You will have a better seal, but can still burn it up if not tuned right.
