Post loose feeling above 70

when i get up and beyond 70mph the car geels like its on ice or floating. moving the wheel only a few degrees causes glide all over on the suspension. It almost feels like the car is going to flipfront over back. It feels looser than my moms astro van. Is this normal or whats going on

Red face

My car is the same way. I will not even drive it anymore its so bad at high speed (that's the only way I can drive it ) Reading old posts, it seems it could be a number of things:

Bad Ball Joints.
Loose nut holding the wheel assembly on the spindle???
Bad bushings.
Bad Shocks.
Worn bearing/rubber pad at the top of the spring.

I had found one way to check the ball joint, but haven't had time to test it.

I also want to check the nut on the wheel hub ASAP.

If your car still has the factory original undercarriage componets they are more likely worn out a bit. This cause the effect you are feeling.
